The Willamette Valley Bonsai Society meets the second Tuesday of each month and serves a wide area of enthusiasts. We do not meet for one month in the summer (usually August) when we select a weekend date for our annual picnic and in December. Our meetings are held in the Salem Heights Community Hall located at 3505 Liberty Rd S. in Salem, OR (Intersection of Liberty Road S. and Madrona Ave S.). All meetings start at 7:00 p.m. although many members take advantage of our ‘Social & Snack” half-hour which starts at 6:30 p.m. Assistance with member's bonsai is also available during the 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 pm social time. For information on this months program go to the EVENTS page.
Meeting Date: 2nd Tuesday of each month except for a selected month in the summer (usually August) when a weekend date is designated for the annual club picnic and December. See the Events page for this month’s program
The public is invited to come for a couple of visits on our meeting night at no charge in order to get acquainted with this exciting and beautiful art.
The parking lot for the Salem Heights Community Hall can only be accessed from Liberty Rd. If you're going south on Liberty Rd it will be the first driveway on the right after Madrona. There is a stop light at Madrona and Liberty.
